In Lieu of Gifts

Our Causes

In this happiest moment of our lives, your presence is present enough. But if we are to be honored with a gift, we ask that you consider donating to an organization near and dear to our families hearts.

Hematological Malignancies Fund University of Nebraska Medical Center

This fund supports cutting-edge research in the areas of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, acute & chronic leukemias, myelodysplastic syndromes & multiple myeloma, among other related diseases.

We are exceptionally passionate about supporting the research by the Hematological Malignancies Fund at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Just a year after my twin brother, Grant, and I were born, my mother was diagnosed with very aggressive non Hodgkins lymphoma. After traditional treatment failed her, Dr. Armitage, who served as president of American society of clinical oncology, cured her with what was experimental treatment at the time; a stem cell transplant. The continued support and progress of Lymphoma has made this day possible for me and my family, and we are devoted to helping provide the same hope to others and their loved ones suffering from this disease.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF)

MJFF is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda & ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.

MJFF is especially important to us because to our Family as Michael’s family has been directly impacted by Parkinson’s. Michaels maternal grandfather, Paul Ruge, lived with Parkinson’s for many years before passing away in early 2022 and Michael’s Paternal Grandfather, David Zeuli, continues to live with Parkinson’s today.  MJFF has provided important access to development stage drugs so Dave can persevere in his battle against Parkinson’s. MJFF has enabled and continues to enable the manageability of Parkinson’s, so that our loved ones could lead a happier and longer life.  Please join us in supporting MJFF in their search for a cure for Parkinson’s.
